NEW ADVANCES IN PHYSICS invites papers in different areas of Theoretical and Experimental Physics including the areas of Astro Physics, Cosmology and Condensed Matter Physics. Articles should report original and important results. These will be peer reviewed. The articles should not in general exceed 5000 words. Short communications which may give advance notice of important results would also be considered. Hard copies of all articles should be sent in duplicate to any one of the editors. These articles should conform to the following broad guidelines:
1. They should be prepared using standard TeX or LaTeX style which would be required at a later stage in case of acceptance.
2. There should be an Abstract not exceeding 200 words. The abstract should not contain formulae and references. The abstract should be followed by these sections:
(i) 1.Introduction
(ii) 2.Further Investigations …………
(iii) n.Discussion / Conclusion
(iv) These sections should be followed by any Acknowledgements the author may wish to include and
(v) Bibliography.3. References should be labeled numerically in the order of their first appearance. The number should be within square brackets on the same line as the text, at the appropriate place. These references should follow the pattern:
(i) I. Name, Int.J.Mod.Phys.E (volume) (number), page numbers, year, (for Papers)
(ii) P.A.M. Dirac, Principles of Quantum Mechanics, Cambridge University Press, page 222, 1964,( for Text Books).
(iii) A similar pattern should be followed for characterizing a PhD Thesis or a Preprint with details.4. All equations referred to in the text should be numbered sequentially.
5. There must be a covering letter to the effect that the paper is not under consideration for publication with any other journals.
6. Rejected papers will not be returned, unless the authors enclose a self -addressed envelope with the necessary postage. However all authors are requested to retain at least one copy of the papers they submit.
7. Authors may recommend up to six referees for their paper. All the referees should be from established institutions in their field and most of them must be from outside the country. Authors should note that they should provide full contact details including wherever possible, Email, Fax and Phone Numbers of the referees. There is no guarantee however that the editors would contact these referees. Authors may also request to remain anonymous to the referees.
8. The decision of the Editor-in-Chief is final.
