The International Journal of Automated Identification Technology is a peer-reviewed journal. This journal addresses Issues of automated identification technology (AIT). AIT relies on advanced computer technology. It man y comprises bar coding, radio frequency identification (RFID), smart cards, and biometrics, which include face, fingerprint, signature, voice, iris, retina and DNA recognition. AIT is used in a diversity of disciplines such as medical and health care systems, product and asset tracking, production and manufacturing streamlining supply chain management, access control, and criminal identification.
