This journal addresses Issues of automated identification technology (AIT). AIT relies on advanced computer technology. It man y comprises bar coding, radio frequency identification (RFID), smart cards, and biometrics, which include face, fingerprint, signature, voice, iris, retina and DNA recognition. AIT is used in a diversity of disciplines such as medical and health care systems, product and asset tracking, production and manufacturing streamlining supply chain management, access control, and criminal identification. AIT is exploding with opportunities for professionals and promises improved services for public, private, governmental and individual interests.
The objective of the journal is  to publish informative articles about state-of-the-art of automated identification technology.
