The Journal of Human Development is a peer-reviewed journal. Journal of Human Development is a refereed journal dealing with theories and empirics of human development. The journal is published four times a year. The basic purpose of this journal is to publish research studies relating to human development including human capability expansion and contestability failures, human capital, human rights and freedom, human resources utilisation and skill development, and comparative gender analysis. We welcome studies from India as well as other countries. Original papers based on current data and substantive evidence will be given preference. The journal gives special emphasis on the study of contemporary issues and policy.
